Ad Art Specifications – Camera Ready/PDF Ads

If you would like The Equiery to assist in building your ad, please see the ad design information below.

Display Ad prices above are for “camera ready” art, which are ready to print, high resolution, PDF files with embedded fonts. All artwork inside “camera ready” ads should be processed at 300 dpi CMYK (NO RGB).

All text/copy should be entered through a vector based program (e.g. Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXpress). Raster programs should NOT be used for text/copy (e.g. PhotoShop). Only PDFs are acceptable as camera ready ads. JPGs, PNGs, Word documents and native files are not acceptable.

Camera Ready ads must be submitted at the correct print size (see above). Crop Marks and registration marks are not necessary. Please submit the appropriately sized document to fit the ad size you have ordered.

Ad Design

If you do not have camera ready art, The Equiery can design your ad for you. Ads are designed at the discretion of our Art Department. We will follow any directions or “roughs” provided by you, and will make every effort to make sure your ad is correct, effective, and aesthetically pleasing. (The Equiery assumes no liability for errors in ads from handwritten copy).

Contact your ad representative to discuss ad design requirements and rates. Special requests, such as photo touch-ups or special effects, are $75 per hour and you must allow a minimum of three weeks prior to deadline.

“Buy in Bulk” Discounts

Discounts for prepaid, consecutive month display ads save you money and hassle! Your business will maintain its presence in The Equiery – and maintain its market share – even if you are out of town or are otherwise unavailable.

The name says it all! An exclusive section designed specifically for the freelance trainer or instructor, as well as judges.

This section is reserved for promoting individuals and is not available for farms, barns or stables. Limit one individual per listing. Issues run consecutively. Please submit one photo (jpg at 300 dpi), up to 40 words for a description of qualifications and services, plus one phone number, one e-mail address and one website.
