From the Maryland Department of Agriculture

The Maryland Department of Agriculture, in cooperation with Anne Arundel County, will expand mosquito control services in two areas of Anne Arundel County due to evidence of evidence of West Nile virus in the area.

The first area to be sprayed includes the following communities: St Margaret’s, St Margaret’s Farm, and Old Mill Bottom Estates. This area will be sprayed on Wednesday, September 11 and the following Wednesday, September 18, weather permitting.   The second area to be sprayed includes Cloverlea, Beverley Beach and Caddle Creek. This area will be sprayed on Thursday, September 12 and 19, weather permitting.

Spraying will begin at or after 7:30 p.m. Any existing spray exemptions in the area will be temporarily suspended. People should avoid outdoors activities on spray nights. Click here for a map of the area to be treated, or call MDA’s Mosquito Control Program at 410-841-5870.
