Congratulations to Marylander Colleen Rutledge of Frederick and the whole Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for earning the Gold Medal at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Canada CCIO4*-S run at the Bromont Horse Park in Quebec, Canada on August 18-21. Rutledge rode her longtime partner, and Maryland-bred, Covert Rights and finished 15th individually. Teammates included former Marylander Lillian Heard as well as Liz Halliday-Sharp and Andrew McConnon.
Also competing from Maryland in the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Canada CCIO4*-S was Ema Klugman of Clarksburg who represented Australia. Klugman and Bronte Beach finished fifth individually and the Australian team earned Bronze.
