The Maryland Farm Bureau (MFB) announced on January 14 the availability of five $2,000 scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year totaling $10,000 to support the educational pursuits of future Maryland farmers. Applicants or their parents/guardians must be MFB members. Applicants must also be either current high school seniors planning to attend a college or university in the fall of 2025, or students already enrolled in an accredited community college or four-year institution.
Three scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing academic degrees in food, agriculture, and/or natural resources disciplines. Two scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing degrees in other academic disciplines or who are pursuing minors in food, agriculture, and/ore natural resources disciplines.
