Although the 2020 competition year may have been cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many Marylanders racked up points to win miscellaneous championship honors. Congratulations to all and good luck in 2021!

Kristen McDaniel and Jase Munday, Jr. both rode Shadow Maid Stitch in 2020 to earn jousting titles. McDaniel was the Maryland National Novice Champion while Munday earned the Maryland Reserve National Champion Leadline title.

The polo team Aviators (Sunny Khan, Rohail Khan and Nicholas Powers) finished out the season with a win at the Congressional Polo Club’s Arena Tournament on September 26, 2020. The team had a spectacular 2020 full of tournament wins making them Congressional Polo Club’s leading team for the 2020 season.

Sixteen year old Bailey Riemer (originally from Jordon, WY and now working at Dr. Mike Odian’s farm) is a fourth generation draft horse driver who recently won big at the World Percheron Congress, held in Iowa last October. Riemer was named the Overall Senior Youth Showman 15 to 18 Year Old at the finals, which are held every four years in Canada and the US. In addition she earned the World Champion Junior Driver titles in Senior Junior Driver Cart, Senior Junior Driver Team and Junior Decorating classes.
