As we cross the halfway point in the eventing season, many Maryland riders and horses find themselves nationally ranked on the U.S. Eventing Association’s Leaderboards, presented by Bit of Britain. In the OVERALL standings, Marilyn Little of Frederick is the highest ranked Marylander sitting in 16th place. She is also the ninth highest OVERALL LADY RIDER. Colleen Rutledge, also of Frederick, is ranked 34th.

Marilyn is also ranked seventh on the ADVANCED ADULT RIDER list while her equine partner RF Scandalous (owned by Raylyn Farms Inc) tops the ADVANCED HORSE list. “Kitty” also tops the OVERALL HORSE list and TOP 10 MARES list. Colleen’s horse Confidence Game is ranked sixth on the OVERALL STALLION list.

Two Maryland riders have made the top 10 INTERMEDIATE YOUNG RIDER list: Sydney Solomon of Dayton is ranked fifth while Tayler Stewart of Damascus is in seventh. Sydney’s stellar season also has her ranked fifth on the OVERALL YOUNG RIDER list. Baltimore’s Tiffany Wandy is tied for third in the INTERMEDIATE ADULT AMATEUR RIDER list. DC rider Cary Chavis is ranked third on the INTERMEDIATE MASTER AMATEUR RIDER list.

Alexandra Peterson of Annapolis is the fourth highest PRELIMINARY INTERCOLLEGIATE RIDER and sixth highest PRELIMINARY YOUNG ADULT RIDER. Valerie Vizcarrondo of Harwood in tied for ninth on the PRELIMINARY ADULT RIDER list while her horse Favian is currently the top PRELIMINARY HORSE.

At the Training level, Skyler Decker of Mt. Airy is the fifth highest TRAINING YOUNG ADULT RIDER with Arielle Alpert (Poolesville) tied for seventh in the same division. Curren Simpson of Frederick in ranked ninth highest TRAINING MASTER ADULT RIDER. Erin Reilly (Glenwood) is in a tie for eighth place for TRAINING INTERCOLLEGIATE RIDER. She is also in a tie for ninth in NOVICE INTERCOLLEGIATE RIDER.

Currently topping the NOVICE ADULT RIDER list is Stacey Driscoll of Elk Mills. Elizabeth Rotrosen (Chevy Chase) is second in NOVICE ADULT AMATEUR RIDER. Amy Gaynor of Mt. Airy is tied for tenth in NOVICE MASTER ADULT RIDER. Nicholas D’Amore’s Dewey Square is currently the second highest NOVICE HORSE.

Cami Pease of Washington, DC is tied for second on the BEGINNER NOVICE ADULT RIDER LIST while Sara Siegel of Bethesda is tied for ninth. Jennifer Trautmann (West River) is ranked sixth for BEGINNER NOVICE MASTER RIDER and seventh for BEGINNER NOVICE MASTER AMATEUR RIDER. Her horse Norman, is tied for seventh with Cami’s horse Vibrant in the BEGINNER NOVICE HORSE standings.
