Eileen Pritchard-Bryan of Jarrettsville recently became the newest U.S. FEI Eventing Steward General. Pritchard-Bryan issued the following statement:

“I am truly honored to be appointed as the U.S. FEI Eventing Steward General. First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Janis Linnan and Sally O’Connor for their mentorship and guidance over the many years. The journey has been exciting and I’m looking forward to performing my duties in this new capacity.

With this appointment, I am committed to supporting the FEI, USEF, Organizers, Athletes, Horses, and all Eventing Stakeholders by working alongside an excellent roster of U.S. Eventing Stewards. They are dedicated FEI officials that are integral to the success of a competition, and they are passionate about the sport and the very important role they play in it.

My plans will be to work with the USEF Licensed Officials Department, and the FEI to support and increase the educational opportunities for Eventing Stewards, as well as expand officiating opportunities both here and abroad. Encouraging and maintaining lines of communication will be paramount as well as improving the consistency in performing our responsibilities as Stewards.

I am looking forward to supporting and working alongside everyone as the U.S. FEI Eventing Steward General.”
