At the January 2019 annual meeting of the Maryland-based Harness Horse Youth Foundation, the following officers were elected for 2019: Adam Bowden (president), Corey Callahan (vice president), Nicola Abrams (treasurer) and Allison Conte (secretary).
In addition, the nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization dedicated to providing young people and their families educational opportunities with harness horses has expanded its annual summer programs. The summer 2019 schedule will include more one-day events. HHYF has also created a three-day program and has made improvements to the annual upper level five-day leadership program.
A grant program has been created to assist with travel expenses for those young people who many need financial assistance to attend.
A complete summer schedule will be made available later this spring.
