On Tuesday, September 18, J. William Boniface of Creswell Farm was named a Harford Living Treasure. Boniface bred the 1983 Preakness winner Deputed Testamony, who was born, trained and died at Boniface’s Harford County farm. The Boniface family has long been involved with Thoroughbred racing and Boniface was part of the three-some (with Chick Lang and Jim McKay) that created what is now called the Jim McKay Maryland Million.
