We wake up this morning to excellent news from the Maryland Jockey Club: the 27 horses stabled in Barn 16 at the Bowie Training Center will be allowed to train this morning, Wed. Sept. 25. The blood samples from Saturday’s euthanized horse tested negative for the infectious and contagious equine herpesvirus (EHV-1), and the hold order has been officially lifted.
