Maryland’s own Suzanne Stettinius is headed to the U.S. Olympics to complete in the women’s modern pentathlon! In this interview with Channel 13’s Denise Koch, Suzanne talks about how she grew up riding, learned to shoot from her dad, and – as a natural athlete – of course, ran and swam, but that it was not until she met some pentathletes while in college that she ever thought about putting it all together. All she had to do was to learn how to fence!  Now, at the age of 24, she is off to the Olympics!   The women pentathletes will compete on the last day of the Olympics, Sunday Aug. 12. The Equiery will post Suzanne’s results as quickly as possible, so stay tuned!
