A fire broke out this morning around 12:30 a.m. at Boyd Martin’s barn at True Prospect Farm in West Grove, PA. Eleven horses were in the barn at the time of the blaze. Lillian Heard, Caitlin Silliman and Ryan Wood were able to evacuate five of them. Four of those saved horses (Neville Bardos, Otis Barbotiere, Catch a Star and Ambassador’s Rose) are currently being treated at the New Bolton Center. Lillian, Caitlin and Ryan suffered minor injuries during the rescue and were treated at Jennersville Hospital earlier this morning.

Six horses (Call Me Ollie, Charla, Ariele, Phantom Pursuit, Cagney Herself and Summer Breeze) were killed in the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
